The Heritage of Hannah Neil lives on through Eastway

Childhood is a gift. Everything we do at The Heritage of Hannah Neil comes back to this. We need to protect it like lives depend on it. Because they do. We believe every child deserves a happy, healthy life. And that starts with a happy, healthy childhood.

Take a Look Around

Our newest facility, The Heritage of Hannah Neil, is located on 22 acres in Columbus. The 36,000-square-foot newly renovated facility is an open campus that includes residential cottages for 40 children, a cafeteria, classrooms, a gymnasium, music rooms, basketball courts and an entire wing dedicated to outpatient care.

This safe, welcoming and warm environment provides children a place to heal and grow emotionally, behaviorally and academically.

Who is Hannah Neil?

Equal parts community leader and caregiver, Hannah Neil settled in Columbus in 1812. With an unrelenting drive to serve the poor and needy, Mrs. Neil quickly became known as a person who fed the hungry, soothed the troubled, and housed the lost. It is in her spirit—and her name—that we carry out our work today.
